The best broadband for you will depend on what you’re using it for and how many of you are using it at one time. You should also think about how long you’ll need it for, based on your student accommodation or property lease. It may work to sign up for a whole year or you may need to roll month-to-month.

Students who are doing lots of uploading (for example, when submitting big projects or bits of coursework) or downloading (for example, when saving important documents or research to their devices) may find that they need faster broadband, with more bandwidth, to ensure these activities don’t take up too much extra time or disrupt the connection for others in the household.
