How do I set up port forwarding?

Due to the shortage of IPv4 addresses, we use Carrier Grade Nat (CGN) which allows for more efficient use of our IPv4 address range. 

There are some applications that may be affected by this, including online gaming, VPNs, P2P applications and hosting at home. Port forwarding can help with this. In order for port forwarding to work, you’ll need a static IPv4 address instead of CGN, which can be purchased for £5 a month by reaching out to us through My Account support request.
