1. As part of a short-term trial (which will end on 31 December 2022) (the “Refer a Business Trial”), Hyperoptic Ltd (“Hyperoptic”) has implemented a reward scheme (on and subject to these Terms and Conditions) to apply when:
- an existing customer of Hyperoptic’s Business Broadband Service or Dedicated Business Fibre Service (the “Business Services”); or
- a landlord; or
- a property manager
(each of which is an “Eligible Business”), refers another business (which is not already, and has not previously been, a Hyperoptic customer) to Hyperoptic, and that other business then in turn subscribes for either of those Business Services.
2. In order to accept the opportunity to be a referrer under this Refer a Business Trial (a “Referrer”), an Eligible Business must respond to the email from Hyperoptic (which attaches these Terms and Conditions) inviting it to participate in the Refer a Business Trial (the “Invitation Email”). In its response, the Eligible Business should confirm that it wishes to be a Referrer. In doing so, the Eligible Business will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Referrer should tell any business which it refers to Hyperoptic (a “Referred Business”) that when they place their order for Business Services, they must include the Referrer’s name in that order . A referral will only be eligible for this Refer a Business Trial (an “Eligible Referral”) if the Referred Business orders a package for Business Services which is 150Mb or higher and which has a minimum commitment period of at least 12 months and the Referrer’s name is given during the order process for that package.
4. Once the order relating to an Eligible Referral is completed, both the Referred Business and the Referrer will receive an email notification from Hyperoptic confirming this.
5. Each of the Referrer and the Referred Business will receive a reward (“Reward”) in respect of the Eligible Referral within 30 days after the Referred Business’s new package for Business Services has been active for 30 days and its first invoice has been paid in full.
6. The Reward shall be either a £50 credit applied to the Hyperoptic customer account of the Referrer or Referred Business (as applicable) or a £50 “Gift Card” which shall be either an amazon.co.uk gift card or a pre-paid Mastercard. The terms applicable to each type of Gift Card can be found at Giftcloud page. The choice as to which Reward is given shall be at Hyperoptic’s sole discretion, and any Referrer or Referred Business who receives a Reward must only use it for itself and/or its benefit.
7. Hyperoptic reserves the right to withdraw or change this Refer a Business Trial at any time, with or without notice.
8. Rewards in the form of credits against a Hyperoptic customer account can only be used to subsidise bills or monies owed to Hyperoptic for the benefit of the relevant Hyperoptic customer and cannot be exchanged for cash.
9. As standard, no more than 10 Eligible Referrals which result in a Reward can be made per calendar year per Referrer. If the Referrer would like to make more Eligible Referrals than this, please email george.stafford@hyperoptic.com who can advise further.
10. The Referrer must check that the Referred Business is happy to hear about this Refer a Business Trial before the Referrer makes referral.
11. Hyperoptic will withhold Rewards if it reasonably suspects fraudulent activity. All decisions made by Hyperoptic are final.
12. If at the time a Reward becomes receivable (see clause 5 above), a Referrer which is an Eligible Business under clause 1(a) above is no longer a current customer of the Business Services, no Reward is payable to it.
13. Hyperoptic Ltd is a full fibre internet service provider (“ISP”) and a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 07222543, with registered office and main trading address at Kings House, 174 Hammersmith Road, London, W6 7JP.
