Hyperoptic upgrades Hyperhub router range, setting new standards in full fibre broadband technology

Hyperoptic upgrades Hyperhub router range, setting new standards in full fibre broadband technology

July 24, 2024

Hyperoptic, the UK's leading alternative full fibre broadband provider, announces the launch of its new Zyxel routers, further bolstering its range of Hyperhubs. The state-of-the-art device, designed to significantly enhance the broadband experience, offers superior performance, stability, and security to Hyperoptic’s customers.

Hyperoptic Hyperhub Router – Zyxel EX3301

The new Zyxel Hyperoptic Hyperhub router is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology and Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO), providing vastly improved Wi-Fi performance, and is fully capable of reaching 1Gbps wired speeds. It supports Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) and beamforming technologies, delivering high-speed internet and an optimal Wi-Fi experience.

The router is mesh-capable, allowing customers who opt for Hyperoptic’s Total Wi-Fi® service to use a Minihub Wi-Fi extender without replacing their existing router. Additionally, it features four 1Gb LAN ports for stable wired local network connections, and its wall-mountable design offers flexible placement options.

For enhanced security, the router includes a built-in firewall, the latest WPA3 Wi-Fi security protocols, and parental controls.

Customer-centric innovation

Duncan MacDonald, CTIO of Hyperoptic, commented: “We’re excited to introduce this new Zyxel router, which represents our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible broadband experience for our customers. With the latest technology and enhanced security features, the router is designed to meet the evolving demands of today’s connected homes.”

The new Zyxel router is now available to all new Hyperoptic customers, with existing customers eligible for an upgrade.
