That fibre difference

Our full fibre goes all the way to your property. No old fashioned copper or stopping at the street cabinet like some competitor fibre services.
And that makes us hyperfast.

Our top average broadband speed (900Mbps for downloads and uploads on our hyperfast 1Gb product) is over 18x faster than the UK’s average.*

How the fibre magic happens

*The UK’s average broadband download speed is 49.9Mbps, compared to Hyperoptic’s top average download speed of 900Mbps which is achieved through a wired connection on our 1Gb package. Average speeds taken from Ofcom’s ‘UK Home Broadband Performance’ measurement period March 2021.

Our customers are 4 times more likely to recommend us than our big competition*

*based on 1. the fixed broadband provider net promoter scores (“NPS”) for BT, EE, Plusnet, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin Media (Hyperoptic’s “big competition”), as a combined average, set out in Ofcom’s Customer Satisfaction Tracker 2021 and 2. Hyperoptic’s NPS score using our own internal recommendation survey (with data from 1.01.21 to 31.12.21), prepared using the same methodology as the NPS scores in Ofcom’s Customer Satisfaction Tracker 2021. NPS scores in Ofcom’s Customer Satisfaction Tracker 2019.

Hyperfast doesn’t mean hyperexpensive

The speeds we’re comparing above are those available to respective providers’ customers. Please bear in mind that some of our competitors do also offer 1Gb packages, but they’re only available to a limited group of their customers whereas our 1Gb package is available to the majority of our customers. Average speed of 900Mbps on our 1Gb package requires a wired connection to the router.
