Boris Ivanovic,

Boris is a seasoned entrepreneur with two award-winning ISPs already to his name. He grew his first, BoStream, by launching fibre-to-the-home in Sweden. Customers surged from 2,000 to 100,000 and revenue from $1m to $55m in three years. To this day, that infrastructure remains Sweden's leading internet platform. When Boris co-founded breakthrough ISP Be with Dana in 2005, it broke both the UK's upload and download speeds and was worth £50 million just a year and a half later. These speeds were achieved through Boris' investment in the first ADSL2+ network in the UK. Being the first to go full fibre in the UK has been his dream ever since.

Dana Pressman Tobak,

Managing Director

As joint founder and Managing Director of Be Un limited, the record-breaking 24 Meg broadband provider of 2005, Dana took the business from start to launch in just six months. By placing the consumer at the heart of success (Be customer support continues to win awards to this day) and generally refusing to take no for an answer, Dana has been building successful global businesses for over 20 years. Co-founder and director of Hyperoptic, Dana brings expertise in commercial agreements, financial business practice and purchasing, and an unshakeable vision for Hyperoptic's success.

Tom Williams,

Director of Business Operations

Tom was Managing Director of the UK's breakthrough ISP Be Un Limited before he left to help establish Hyperoptic. Tom's proven talent for leading business transformational programmes helped Be remain top of the broadband industry for customer service and quality, winning numerous awards including the ISPA 'Best Consumer Broadband' award in 2010. Always hungry for involvement in the next-generation ISP, Tom was the obvious helmsman to steer Hyperoptic's full-fibre revolution. That opportunity came from his previous colleagues Boris and Dana, and he joined Hyperoptic in 2010.

Brian Doherty,

Director of Sales and Marketing

Brian brings with him far-reaching experience gained through successfully deploying fibre optic networks - both business and residential - across private and public markets in his time at Virgin Media and Fibernet. His move to Hyperoptic has enabled Brian to renew old friendships; while at Fibernet he was a key supplier to Be. Brian leads our entire sales strategy, across both residential and business sectors. He is thrilled to be joining at this critical time in the roll-out of fibre optic in the UK, knowing that Hyperoptic's affordable hyper-fast connectivity is crucial to the nation's broadband journey.

Ben Bresler,

Finance Director

An experienced, dedicated Chartered Accountant fresh from a role as Finance Director at retail company Rigby & Peller. Ben ensured a fast, smooth sale of the company, completing all finance, tax and legal due diligence as a key part of the deal team and negotiation process. During his time at Rigby and Peller, Ben led a business expansion program in order to drive top line growth and profitability. He shook up the incumbent systems and processes to deliver relevant management information and enable real decision-making. He's a thorough finance professional, with a passion for cutting edge technology and the role it plays in the modern world.

Shyam Acharya,

Director of Networks

Shyam is another veteran member of the original Be Un Limited team. Shyam is responsible for the design and deployment of Hyperoptic's super-fast fibre-based broadband network across London and other cities. Shyam played a key role in the success of Be by building their state-of-the-art broadband network at breakneck speed. Shyam has over 13 years of experience in working with ISPs and interestingly all of them were start-ups. Shyam has also worked for some of the biggest telecom operators in India such as Dishnet, Hughes Telecom and Tata Telecommunications specialising in broadband network design.

Rob Garlicki,

Head of Field Operations

Rob has been working in Telecommunications since 1993 in a variety of delivery-focused roles for Optilan, Orange, Alcatel-Lucent, O2 Airwave and O2 Broadband. Rob's introduction to broadband was a trial by fire: heading up Alcatel's Deployment activities for Be initially during their aggressive Proof of Concept rollout and later helping Be/O2 achieve Local-Loop Unbundling (LLU) penetration into nearly 1200 exchanges. Rob relishes working with some of the old Be crew again and the new challenges laid down by Hyperoptic. He says his love of extreme sports fits the Hyperoptic ethos perfectly.
